Organization of Women Executives serves as an organization that advances the business and professional status of its members. Our monthly luncheons encourage women to network with other women in business in an effort to promote better business relations in all segments of the business community. We also provide workshops and information of skills women need in order to be strong and successful business women.
Support & Build a Network of Like-Minded Women
O.W.E. provides opportunities for members to make business contacts, lay ground for business transactions in a relaxed and informal environment, and explore best practices that can be applied to their business. During our monthly luncheons or after hour mixers, members can use our platform to network and empower other women. Online Member Directory Each member will be added to our Online Member Directory. Members and guests can access your contact information and be directed to your website. This is designed so everyone can share this directory and increase visits to your website and business. Free Advertisement Through Social Media Our PR Team is working diligently in promoting members' business and services through our social media networks. Member recognitions and achievements are also promoted through our social media. Access to Facebook Community Page The Facebook community page is designed to allow members to share their upcoming events, search for services, or share special offers. This community is a private group that has reached over 200 people which allow members to connect and advertise services. Access to Free Educational Seminars Part of O.W.E.'s mission is to provide "educational services significant to the professional woman" and OWE will be providing Free trainings designed by the Board and Members. O.W.E. is also constantly searching for local and non-local seminars and conventions to take members. Opportunity to Sponsor Events Members will have the opportunity to sponsor events which will provide exposure to their business. Scholarship Opportunities Each membership year, 3 quarterly scholarships of $100 each will be awarded in December, March and June. Criteria for eligibility includes being current with dues and having attended a minimum of 3 consecutive meetings (Sep-Nov, Dec-Feb, Mar-May). Members must be present to win. Each September, an end of membership year scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a member who attended 10 of the 12 preceding meetings. You will be requested to give a brief announcement to the organization regarding the scholarship and its meaning for your business. Create Lifetime Friendships O.W.E. takes pride in creating lifetime friendships between its members. Throughout the years, O.W.E. members have increased their business by the referrals other members make to their family and friends. |
